While You Were Flying

dear mom and dad,
well. today was an experience. i was in a totally new forest this morning. the forest is filled with new dogs and smells and people who were really nice to me. i guess no one can resist my face. especially auntie mia.

then! then this afternoon i was in a completely different forest than the first one, and suddenly there's this big field, and all the dogs you could wish for. kids were flying kites and i danced around them and ran with other dogs. i must have played with at least 6 other dogs. there was one i especially liked because she reminded me of milou.

when i got back, i was beat. it was sunny and while auntie mia worked i sat in the garden taking in some sun.

benny and me played in the garden and i peed on everything in sight.

well, now i am totally beat. we watched 'a pint of lager and a packet of crisps' on bbc and i had a bone and i'm pretty comfy in my Yankees blanket. gute nacht! i'm thinking of you and hope you had a good flight.

Faithfully and ever-so-cutely yours,

Ubie

Miss you already

Dear mom and dad,

Ubie here. I'm not sure where you went, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm doing okay. Chris and Mia took me out and I was really good on the leash. I got to know the neighborhood a bit. I whined a little bit afterwards but then I came up and sat with them and watched CSI. All is good. Don't you worry.

Ubie out

ps: xoxo
pps: i snagged about 5 treats tonight! we played a game in the garden where i had to hunt for them and i found them all!

Me in France

I put this picture up today just because my mom likes it. I was just swimming in Lac de St. Croix. I'm not really that into swimming. I like running around more and stealing sticks from other dogs. I DO like the water for chillin' when I'm all hot from running around. My friend Terrapin is the greatest swimmer of all time and I just can't compete. I can out hunt and out bark her and sometimes she will drop her stick because I've barked right in her ear and almost burst her eardrum.
My mom and dad tell me that I was born in France, but for some reason I speak better English. I also speak a little German but I have no idea what the French are saying to me when they talk to me.... except for when they say "dit bonjour" and then I know that means that I should shake hands with them. This language thing is pretty hard here in Europe.
