Terrapin and Uben

Thanks to those of you who sent good wishes this way for dear, sweet, Terrapin because it looks like she is going to be ok. She had cancer surgery but thankfully it had not spread. She has lots of stitches but they will come out on Monday and she seems to be feeling pretty good....she is playing and having a good old time here in the Dog Hotel. Thank goodness. Next stop, Provence, so stay tuned for more photos and the dog's travel journal, coming in June.

Uben is very happy that his friend feels better and can play with him a little. He seems to be proud when she is around to go walking with him, and he has less interest in other dogs when he has his girl along. Now if he would just stop with the bedwetting! The house has been waterproofed and for sure I'm running a little dog hospital here.

Terrapin is in the hospital

Terrapin fell very ill this week and is in the University small animal medical clinic in Munich. They still don't know what is wrong with her but if you are reading this please say a prayer for her. She is old and sweet and gentle and we are all very worried about her.
